 Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Branch 

The Division of Intramural Research (DIR) of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) is seeking to recruit an outstanding Staff Clinician with expertise in cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) to support the Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging Laboratory. The primary responsibilities with be supporting the translational and clinical research program. These responsibilities will include supervision and interpretation of CMR scans, teaching fellows and students, as well as completing research studies and publications. The Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging Laboratory runs two dedicated cardiovascular MR scanners (3T and 1.5T). There are strong interactions with a wide range of independent research groups, and the position offers exceptional opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration within and outside of the NIH. 

The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Director of the Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging Laboratory. The successful candidate should have a strong track record of achievement, expertise and experience in the area of cardiovascular MR. Applicants must have an M.D. Salary is commensurate with clinical and research experience. 

Appointees may be US citizens, resident aliens, or non-resident aliens with or eligible to obtain a valid employment authorized visa.  However, the candidate must be licensed in the United States and must be able to obtain a Maryland Medical License.
